Daily Status for Android

The daily status for Athens on your phone: weather and rain, namedays, news, COVID-19 and flu with an outbreak signal, fuel prices since 2000 and the economy. Works offline too.

How to install

1. Tap Download on your phone.
2. Open the downloaded file. Android asks to allow installs from your browser or Files app. Allow it.
3. Tap Install. The app refreshes its data automatically every 6 hours.
4. When a new version is out, the app shows it on the Today tab with a download link. It installs over the old one and keeps your data.

If you installed a test version (for example "Greek Fuel Prices" or "Daily Status" 2.0), you can uninstall it. The final version is a separate app.

What's inside

• Today: date, weather, rain hours, sunrise and sunset, namedays, key numbers
• News: yesterday's main stories for Greece and the world
• Health: COVID-19 and flu with an outbreak signal, on-duty pharmacies and hospitals sorted by distance with Near me, and directions in Google Maps
• Fuel: prices, price breakdown since 2000 and affordability
• Markets: the daily financial brief, calendar and Greek financial press

The app is in Greek in Greece and in English elsewhere. Switch with the EN or ΕΛ button at the top right; your choice is remembered.

The app collects no personal data and shows no ads. It only downloads public data files from this website. If you tap Near me, your location is used only on the phone to sort by distance and is never sent anywhere.
